''In the coming months, I will focus on my graduation project, which I will carry out at our client. After obtaining my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, I will provisionally keep working on engineering of the cold forming processes at the same client.''
Why did you choose DCD?
''The innovativeness, the possibility of variety in the work, the relatively small scale of the company and the people I met during the application phase really appealed to me.''
What do you bring with you in this job?
''A good portion of eagerness to learn, curiosity, creativity, a down to earth character and a critical and analytical view.''
What do you like to do in your spare time?
''I love to wander through the jungle or dive on a coral reef somewhere in a distant country, in search of special animals and plants. I also enjoy going to concerts and festivals with friends and have various creative hobbies such as photography, DIY, furniture making and gardening.''
What is something that no one knows about you?
''That I keep snakes at home.''
What is someone allowed to wake you up for in the middle of the night?
''To catch a plane. Otherwise, please do not disturb.''
What is it like to start a new job in corona time?
''It is a pity not to be able to meet all of my new colleagues at DCD live. Fortunately, it is possible to meet the colleagues at the client I work for. And also there is video calling...''
What can colleagues always call you for?
''I really enjoy thinking along with other people's projects. But I am also always up for a beer together after work.''
What are your technical ambitions within DCD?
''It is important for me to always keep learning. I hope to gain lots of experience in engineering and thus continue to grow in the profession.''
Who or what is your biggest source of inspiration?
''Nature, an endless source of magnificence and ingenuity!''
